Caddy install help

Well I had a bunch of pictures saved for future reference, but I seem to have lost/misplaced them.

I had all of Andy's (Longhorn Man) and a bunch from Al (IAFF2407). I went to check Andy's web page again and the page is no longer available. I talked to him via PM and he wasnt sure if he had the pics saved anywhere.

So does anyone else have them? Even close up pics of your own install would be great.

I tried to sell my Caddy 500/400 combo and had zero bites so instead of just letting the stuff sit there I may as well use em.

Thanks for any and all input.

What are you putting it in? 4x4? I have a few pics of my 4x4 install, but could take more of specifics if you want.

Re: Caddy install help

you don't want a 500 in there. stick with a SBC. you can always ship the 500/400 combo to me. I'll keep it warm and dry.

Re: Caddy install help

I've got pic of my install. email me and I'll send em to ya. This can be a bolt in deal using all GM parts, you will need to massage the firewall a bit for head clearance tho. and you wont regret going with the big Cad!

Re: Caddy install help

Here's an old thread of mine showing the firewall mod I done for "trans in the 4x4 position". You will find that if you run stock exhaust manifolds the right manifold clears the frame like it was made for it in this position. If you go further forward, I think you have to put the engine up higher, or trim the frame a bit. I believe a 2wd would be similar clearance- wise.
