New to me 1LowToy

New to the chevy scene here. I been checking out trucks for a while to figure out which one I wanted and could afford to have a little fun with. I found a 1980 whick was not the most ideal choice but with only 55k miles with a an L6I think I have a good start. This truck is so basic it's silly, no door dome switches??? It has Auto trans, PS PB AC and tilt wheel. Feetside shortbed and I jut picked up a nice stepside bed, asme color as the truck. So tuff to match white.

It appears to be the lowering of choice for the rear is the flip kit. I was going to try something a little different. I going to be looking closer at the one ton springs. The main leaf does not have much of an arch to it yet the spring is thicker. If the length is correct I'm thinking it would be ideal with the main spring and maybe one ir two more leafs. Anyone give this a shot??

Welcome to the forum. There is a reason that the flip kit is so popular. It's because it's a very cost effective way to lower your truck and not dramatically effect your ride or load capacity.
