The screw in stud is THE only way to go. I get mine from the local body shop supply store. I'm sure they are the same as what is in Mar-k catolog. When installed they look identical to the original stud. It's probably not neccesary, but I always add a little loc-tite to help seal the threads.

I don't have a link, but i have the setup in my garage. I have a buddy that owns a body shop in town and that is what he prefers. Any time you have extra holes in sheet metal, you can have more potential for rust.
