The best way to spend thanksgiving or at least a good way to walk off all the food you ate on thanksgiving by viewing over 5,500 classic cars and classic car auction and HUGE swap meet area. (very nice vendor from arkansas comes every year that just sells 67-72 chevy truck, blazer and burb parts.) all located in the infield of the legendary Daytona International Speedway.

Oh yeah, I can't wait! Wife and I are driving "Blue" down Friday morning and staying through Sunday. Hotel on A1A, something with a spanish sounding name. There are a few guys from the GA area that are going.

Can you get your truck in the track without being registered? I would love to get a pic of it with Daytona in the background.

We need to try and meet up somehow. Have a 67-72 meet and greet or something. My truck is not much to look at, still in the early stages with it. But I would love to meet some people from the board, and check out their trucks.

Yeah we should set up a meeting spot some where or designate a spot to park for 67-72 trucks only. Also you have to pay and register to go through the gate to the speedway. But one good tip get there early like 7:30am to get that picture of my truck on the track due to no traffic.

It's Daytona, I am sure I can find a good spot somewhere on the grounds to get a picture haha. Maybe someone that has been there before can recommend a meeting point. A parking lot on A1A somewhere. Meet up Saturday night. Just an idea.

dont know i might have to miss it this year as i got some very bad news today and am leaving town the end of the week return day is up in the air

i actually saw one of the early birds at bellair plaza today he got in this morning from minnisota with his 54chevy

If you're interested in seeing the largest volume and a lot of the more different cars/trucks, Bel-Air plaza on A1A is usually the best every nite. That's where I will be.

I remember last year they had a judged car show on mainstreet in daytona beach that started around 5:30 or 6:00 saturday night if i remember right. But i would recommend to get there early to get a good spot for that. Also the Bel-Air plaza would not be a bad meeting place either.

Another idea if all the 67-72 owners could meet at the mall across from the track at a certain time and drive into the track at the sametime so we can park next to each other and maybe have a group picture on the track.
