Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I got the rear lights in and they work but no brake lights. Not sure why they don't work. Switch is good. Fuse good. I wonder if its because I have my column out.??

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

We'll I got the firewall painted. Pedals painted and the rubber and trim on them. I put the tilt column in too. I still have to tie up the wiring tho. And I have more wiring to do. The cig lighter light, radio light, under dash lights, ac controller lights. I need to install the control and wire the switch for the ac too, the wiper delay control and the front marker lights. I checked the rear lights and they all work. Lots still to do but I'm knocking out stuff slowly.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I really like the short lever and steering wheel Chuck. I did the same parts on my truck.
Do you remember what adapter kit you had to buy for the steering wheel? I just have a wheel but no way to mount it.

I ordered my kit from Classic Industries. Part #K579
http://www.classicindustries.com/search/?q=K579

thats for the horn.. sorry. When I needed mine I looked through some threads here and found out the part for the hub needed to be for a 67-68 for the tilt column. other hubs were too large. I'll try to find it. here ya go. heres a thread

Thanks, the frustration continues..The new Pioneer head unit won't power up. I'll take it back tomorrow. I have two other projects lined up but I need to do some remodeling on the house after I get this truck done.
