i am just the other way i liked the other wheels better if this was the set up Impalapawpaw was after he wouldnt have to go with all the porterbuilt stuff in the first place and would have saved a bunch of money!

Impalapawpaw how much turning were you able to do with your other wheels i am running into some turning issues and wondered exactly how much turning you were able to actually do!!! Thanks!

LMAO . I still have the other wheels just messing around with the change .

On the turning with the 22 it didnt turn good in tight places . it took alot of backing up and going forward to get in some places . the smaller wheels are better but not perfect on the turning . i can just turn better with it layed out on the steels

Thanks Impalapawpaw i only have 20'' wheels and was hoping to be able to turn maybe not lock to lock but close to it at a low height (aired out) i have the porterbuilt crossmember but i thought it moved the wheels in further to get more turning i guess i will trim the fenders back to the hood edge and see how it goes great job on the truck i like it either way i just like the 22s they look awesome on it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: My First Dime

You can't lay pinch and still have the handling and ride that a full Porterbuilt suspension gives you with rack & pinion no matter what wheels....my opinion. Once you go PB you won't go back...

Truck is perfect buddie...

Re: My First Dime

The Porterbuilt tube control arm's will move your wheels in, I forget how much.He also custom sizes them to be more narrow per you needs... I like some big wheels on some of these trucks also, especially the 22"s that Delmo has been building with the stock hubcaps. But I guess I just like the old school look on these 60-66's. Either way looks good

hey dont get me wrong i like all of these trucks layed out expecially no matter what wheels are on them!!

as far as the dropmember i thought it was around 2 '' it brought everything in it looks like i may have to modify my upper a arms and make them shorter because my wheels are flat with no camber aired out on my suburban which makes the wheels closer to the fenders for less turning while cruising low!
