stepside or fleetside
was just wondering is the stepsidebed lighter or heaver than the fleet side with both being shortwheel based end with factory wood and strips ? thanks

very good question.. i would be curious also.... i would guess the fleet would be heavier... but, thatz a guess.

The curb weight of a '63 short fleet with standard equipment is 3370 lbs.
The curb weight of a '63 short step with standard equipment is3325 lbs. So....it looks like the fleetside bed is about 50 lbs heavier. Mark ![]() |
