Re: Truck parts under the Christmas tree

My wife let me open a gift last night and it was two new "super" emblems for when my truck is done, I think there's more parts under the tree too.

Re: Truck parts under the Christmas tree

No parts under the tree but the wife did get me a new floor jack for the shop and I bought me a Sawzall. Beware man with power tools!

Wow the wife just surprised me with a Hobart 140 mig welder too! Life is good.

Talking Re: Truck parts under the Christmas tree

My wife is the best! For Christmas she let me order modular drop spindles, drop springs , c-notch , drop shocks , and a power steering bracket. I ordered all of it today and CPP threw in the brackets for the spindles for free ! Merry Christmas to me and all of you!

Re: Truck parts under the Christmas tree

So far my new eBay hei and DUI plug wires, they are fully heat sleeved and unburnable. Also got boot protectors because those are still exposed, but can't get the 90 degree boots through.

She is more hurt that I am about the whole deal. I LOVE MY WIFE! Maybe in the next week or two we will bring it home with a big bow on it! Merry Christmas to all!

Re: Truck parts under the Christmas tree

not under the tree, but some exhaust work a couple weeks ago, a new 140 amp cs144 alternator and the conversion harness(yet to be installed and hooked up), some engine paint, a new harmonic balancer and a few other things to get my motor build a little farther along, will be ordering some sd wheel tubs in a couple days and next paycheck maybe some bags.

Re: Truck parts under the Christmas tree

When my wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas a couple of months ago, I told her some new stock chrome rear view mirrors for my '68 short bed Rotrod/shop truck. Not only did I find a pair of those under the tree this morning, but a new dash pad (Gray to match my late model leather seats) and new chrome door handles and window cranks. She has always put up with my love for old trucks, but I think she's really getting into this project. I am truly blessed to have her in my life. I hope everyone on this forum has been blessed this Christmas as well, if not with truck parts, with the love and fellowship of your family and friends.

Re: Truck parts under the Christmas tree

No truck parts under the tree for me, especially since no one knows what I need or what anything is lol. However I did get some nice heavy duty ratchet straps to help secure the ole girl in transport and the tanks and cart for my oxy/acytelyn torch which is gunna be heavily used in the next few weeks! Merry christmas to everyone...hope all your holidays spent with family are more enjoyable then mine... is it wrong to rather spend time in the shop with your dog working on a truck then to spend it with family that just yells all the time?? Anyhow happy holidays
