Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
How did you know where to move the front hanger to?
I got under a 99 or 2000 shortbed 4x4 and took some decent pictures of the set-up. I still dont know how I want to cut the frame down. 1. When you move the front hanger down and forward doesnt this actually raise the truck? 2. Do you think the shortbed gas tank will work now? I already have the front hanger bracket assembly that is used on shortbed trucks. It was already off of a truck at the local PullA Part just laying in a bed. 3. So where is the difference between the short and longbed frames actually at? In the raised arear behind the cab? Last edited by wildmanaaron; 12-28-2009 at 01:44 AM. |

Yeah the shortbed tank will work now, i just wish i could use this one, i might just move the brackets forward and tank down just a bit to clear the back of the cab but not sure.. ill see about that when i get to it. Yeah i think so but i havent seen a stock crew to put them side by side to actually check. |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
well prob be tomorrow... want to get a whole slew of them up for show, Using 2 different cameras since i forgot mine at home so its going to be fun to get all of them together .
I have all brackets moved forward and bolted down, rearend in place (kinda...), shock mounts moved, frame cut off the back and the bed sitting on the frame just to see how it all fits. It looks sweet though!! I know Joe i know "if no pics then it didnt happen" but i will post em up tomorrow |
