The female ends do go into the console but when shoulder harnesses are used the other two female ends go to the cups attached to the front of the console or the side of the bucket seat when no console is used.

I have a set of factory shoulder belts I personally removed from a '71 Cheyenne Super back in '92. They're saddle in color. PM me if you're interested. Casey

Reminds me of one of my "kick myself" moments. I have only seen one truck with factory shoulder belts. They were in a 72 GMC Sierra Grande LWB and were tan. I was looking at buying two trucks that the PO bought to make one and lost interest. The other truck was a 72 Chevy SWB 4x4 that was BEAT but running. the GMC was clean and straight with no drivetrain. He didn't even notice that the GMC had the shoulder belts til I mentioned it! He wanted $2000 for both trucks. He wouldn't sell the belts or other parts. ARGH!

I forget. Are the factory belts retractable, or do they just hang? Do they buckle separately from the lap belts? I had a 71 El Camino that was like this. (You could use lap belt only or lap and shoulder) and the shoulder belts stored above the door in two stainless clips. Kinda wierd.

I have this nos '73 dated set, been trying to find the other side for years. I think I paid $150 for this, that's the price if your interested, or trade for Blazer specific parts.

Hey Randy, I bought it as original '72, but it's not. Belt does look the same as '72, but the dimple in the holder is 90o different, which makes more sense anyway.
