gas tank
I bought the blazer tank from classic industries and was working on mounting it today. I noticed if I flush the flaps on the sides of tank to the bottom of frame it stiks up over the top of frame about an inch. I am guessing this would be hitting my bed? ALso if I lower it at all my gas tank inlet piper will be in middle of frame. Right now the neck on it is flush on top of frame. Any ideas?

Re: gas tank
I also notched the bed support. Evidently if you have a wood bed you can unbolt the support, that would make the job of notching it much easier.

Re: gas tank
I'm having the same problem, I going the same route as haysonj did I have to get my bed panited anyway so the job will be done then, i guess I 'll cut a hole in the floor of the bed for the filler neck.

Re: gas tank
I think most people are notching the bed support. I have seen the frame notched to accomadate the filler pipe but seems like not the best idea from a strength perspective.

Re: gas tank
Has anyone put some type of spacer under bed at each bolt on point to actually sit it higher instead of cutting bed mount rails?
