FS: Chevy 355 and TH400 Transmission
I have a chevy 355, may need to be gone through, and a th400 for sale. these are at my parents house in Houston, and need to be picked up from there. I don't know what is wrong with the 355 (3970010 block with a .030 overbore using a stock 350 crank). I'm asking $250 for it (firm). It has an Edelbrock Performer intake (2101 I think), a brand new starter, a newly rebuilt distributer, and a new water pump. It also has an xtreme energy cam, a set of 882 heads, and some Hypereutectic pistons. I will not split anything on the engine.
I also have a stock th400 for sale. i'm asking $150 firm on it. it has about 20k miles on it, the torque converter, the electric kick down components, and the front section of a driveshaft with the proper yoke. I will not split the transmission stuff up either. Post in the thread if you want either

Ok, took the valve covers off and checked the pushrods. there was one that was loose because of a bad nut. will replace the nut, but the engine will have to be retuned.

So did the engine run before taking it out. Is the only problem the loose rocker.
