directionals blowing fuse

my directionals were flashing really fast and havent had the time too look at it until it blew the fuse today i put another fuse in and that blew right away !!! i cant hear the flasher can either?? any ideas on what blowing the fuse??? thx

The flasher unit culd be at fault. I had an S10 years ago and i had the same problem it ended up being a bad lamp one of the dual filliments was slightly touching the other and it would groung out on the other and pop the fuse.

You may have a short somewhere. Look at the wires near the turnsignals in the front and rear. See if there is something rubbing that may have finally rubbed through causing the wires to touch other wires or ground out against the frame or body.

That was my idea, flashers or bad wire. Mine will blink wierd if a bulb is out but don't blow fuses.
