How do I install headlights??

Ok i have no clue how to install my front head lights, i have the bezel mounted to the grill and i have the headlight retainers where do those screw into to? My radiator support has no screw holes and only 2 holes that are square cut. Am i missing a bracket?? 2nd.. do the bezels go in last?? pictures or a link much appreciated, thanks!

1972 chevy front end, 1969 radiator support?? if that makes a difference.

baged72... check out this thread... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=360904

You should have a headlight bucket which is attached to the firewall.

Then you plug your bulb in and push the blub into the bucket

Then you install the bulb trim ring (chrome ring) around the blub which then screws into the headlight bucket.

Last you install the headlight bezel

Re: How do I install headlights??

Yup, the square holes are where the adjusters go. They clip in from the back, screw pointing forward.

Just watch the springs though, I thing they are different at some point between the years. Atleast in the adjustment kit I bought for my '70, the springs don't seem right...

Do the springs change per model year?

Re: How do I install headlights??

Here's an exploded view from LMC TRUCK page 162

From the looks of it the springs are the same. Maybe I have the same problem.

I got it, a fellow board member here had a set laying around with full hardware for $20, just picked it up.
Thanks
