Control arm bushing install?

I am rebuilding the front end of my 68 C10 stepper with a complete swap from an 81 step. I have totally disassembled the 81 front end. I have removed the bushings by burning out the rubber and crushing the leftover bushing tubes. Do the new bushings have to be pressed in, or can they be driven in just by tightening the bolts on the end of the control arm shafts?

They need to be pressed in - your local machine shop or body shop should be able to take care of it for you
