I need to be educated on my trucks Differential. It's singing and I know the Ring and Pinion are not aligned due most likely the Pinion Bearing. What year Carriers will fit the present Housing? Thanks in advance, Al W.

The carrier is not necessarily a problem...but if the bearings are shot, the ring and pinion definately are too.
I always recommend seeking the services of a professional. The set up of the gears is a very precise task. It takes some special tools and a lot of patience. It's just not worth the hassle/headache/expense for a jod that most guys will only ever need to do once.
Pay a pro and you will get a warranty too.

OK, I understand. Point well taken. I'd like to go Posi. Any advice as to what kind of unit I can replace the current one with? (Years and Truck Specific, etc.) If I'm paying for a rebuild I might as well go for the Posi. Thanks, Al W.
