The workmanship looks outstanding!! Not my style (I prefer the stock look). Whoever funded this build had VERY deep pockets. I wouldn't be surprised to learn there was more than $75k spent on the truck.

Very tough to sell today.

Yes he has 50 grand in this truck. And worth it with all the work. Getting that out of it with things the way they are now is going to be difficult.

I did what I thought was a very budget minded, long drawn out, never-quite-done resto on mine and I know I dropped over $20K on it. After all that, I still didn't have nice rims on it...

Re: 50k? ....look at this truck and lets hear it.

That is a great truck. Definitely worth 50k. But I'd rather have mine since all you can do with that one is trailer it to shows and keep it parked in a humidity/temp controlled building. I want a truck that I can drive. Not just polish and look at and watch other people drool on.

........throw in the trailer and it's a done deal!!!

Beautiful truck, I would almost be scared to drive it, might smudge the paint or something.

Re: 50k? ....look at this truck and lets hear it.

Guys I have seen this truck first hand, and it is spotless! As you can tell it is trailered every where it goes and only sees dirt when driving to the parking spot. I'm actually surprised to see them selling this truck. Josh has put a ton of money, blood, sweat, and tears into this thing.

For what they probably have invested in the truck (parts/time) I'd say the price is in line.

I'm just curious what they have planned... two years ago they brought a fresh frame with drivetrain to the Midwest All Truck Nat's. Economy, new project, who knows.

Re: 50k? ....look at this truck and lets hear it.

Wow, that's a beauty, but I would never pay anywhere near that for one of these trucks, no matter what's been put into it. That's first gen RS/SS Camaro territory, and those will hold their value and easily resell for the same price. Finding a buyer for this truck at that price is *probably* going to be difficult, especially since it's a jacked up 4x4 longbed, that's a pretty specific group of buyers. Best of luck to him on his sale, like I said, she's a beauty, but these trucks are never worth anywhere near the cost of a true "show truck" restoration.

Truck looks terrific. One thing I have learned when I see people building these serious show pieces at the time you go to sell them you are lucky if you get 50-60 cents for your spent dollar.

I agree - he may have that much (or more) money into it, but these trucks are just not worth that kind of money, at least to me, regardless. They are attractive to us because they are very affordable, and a good value at what you can normally pick them up for. I hate to say it, but you can only polish a turd so much, and after that, it's just an overpolished turd. It doesn't make me love these trucks any less; but these trucks were built to work, and not for show.

Very nice but I would much rather have a $5k truck to drive and enjoy instead of being paranoid about getting it dirty or scratched!!!

I'm not much into longbeds or 4x4's, but it doesn't take a genius to realize that is a beautiful truck. Nor, does it take brainiac to see it has a buttload of money and quality work in it. I give it two thumbs up. LOL!!
