I think i pulled the quote? Sorry I thought there would be only one inner bedside mod or a mod section I could be directed too without bringing back an old thread to the author. I widening my tubs when I read this thread and the mention of this mod made me curious.

Appreciate it,

Re: Inner bedside mod?

The 'inner bedside mod' is not what's pictured. That mod is referred to as 'mini-tubbing'.

The inner bedside mod is similar in that you're making more room for more rubber. Instead of increasing the width of the tub toward the center of the bed, you create more space by re-working the area from the inner bed to outer wheel well.

Board member n2billet did this mod on his project 68:Lucy (it won 'Truck of the Year' here on the board). He needed more room but didn't want to cut the bed floor or tubs. It allowed him to squeeze a 295-40-20 on a 9.5-10" wheel, w/stock size wheel tubs, un-cut bed floor, & still get super low.

I opted to cut the floor & tubs on mine. Both accomplish the same thing....
