Re: 70 chev c10

I think his asking price is too high for what it is. The bucket seats and console look to be from a blazer and i am guessing they need to be redone. The grill looks bent up on the pass side even has 3 different pedal pads. Paint looks fresh judging by the wet sanding glitch under the hood. Should at least clean that up... Looks to be a high hump cab. Possibly a big block truck at one time? Personally i would pass for that kind of money.

Re: 70 chev c10

It's hard to say from pictures because they don't tell the whole story, but from here it looks like a great truck if it's what a person really wants.

I've been waiting for another 67 or 68, but I am looking for a stepside shortbed that hasn't been modified, bondoed over, "redone", and for reasonable price. And I willing to wait. So bottom line, it's worth what someone is wanting to or able to pay and how bad you want it.

forgot to add: I don't think you're supposed to ask a WIW question unless you're a paid member. I think it even pertains to another truck...

Re: 70 chev c10

WHO THATS NOT BUYING IT CAN SAY?? PERSONALLY? IF I WAS GOING TO SPEND 10 GRAND ON A TRUCK I WOULD LOOK FOR A GOOD RUSTFREE (MEANING NEVER HAD RUST- NOT REPAIRED) WESTERN TRUCK & FLY OUT WEST TO PICK IT UP. DOLLARS AHEAD... WAY AHEAD. THERES AN AWFUL LOT OF GOOD LOOKIN TRUCKS OUT ON THE MARKET IN THE THREE TO FIVE GRAND RANGE. OR YOU COULD BUY A FINISHED ONE FOR ABOUT .50 ON THE DOLLAR. JOHN
