Spacer on trans bracket for 6" suspension lift???

Do I need to use a spacer that drops the trans/case cross member for a 6" suspension lift on my 72 Blazer? Skyjacker gave some in the kit, but was wondering if they are needed?

Thanks in advance!

Some do and some don't. I dropped mine with a 4 inch. One inch. I had a minor driveshaft vibration at times and dropping the tc an inch cured it.
