4x4 sway bar changeover

I have all the parts to convert your 67-72 4x4 with a sway bar. This includes the sway bar, cross member, and the spring plate from a square body.
$80 plus shipping. Shipping will be between $30-$45. Thanks, Ray
EDIT: I HAVE MORE AVAILABLE AS OF 5-19-11

Re: 4x4 sway bar changeover

Would you be willing to sell the cross member separately? Is it a direct bolt in or some fabrication required? I already have a sway bar and the spring plates is why I am asking....

It is a direct bolt on. You will have to drill some holes in your frame.
I don't want to split it up right now unless another member just wants the sway bar and plates and weld up their cross member to make it work.
Thanks, Ray

Re: 4x4 sway bar changeover

I don't suppose you could take some closeups of the area where the sway bar mounts? I'll need to fab some brackets to mount my sway bar and it would be nice to have a reference.

Thanks!

Re: 4x4 sway bar changeover

thanks for the pics, I am doing the same..but am missing the crossmember.

I wonder if the brackets that hold the bushing mounts could be fabbed to our existing crossmember? I bought new bushings and they came with new bushing mounts, now I just need to install it...

good deal for a complete unit.

Re: 4x4 sway bar changeover

Thanks for the reply! Congrats on selling the first one! Great deal! I'm still interested in the second one. May consider buying the whole setup if you're not able to separate.

Re: 4x4 sway bar changeover

Thanks for looking out for each other on this board, thats one of the many things that makes it so great.

In all fairness, I did not specifically say "I would take it" so I am cool with that.

If there is another one available, I am "interested" but I really only need the cross member as I already have the bar, spring mounts, and brackets. But I am willing to buy a "complete" set if that is the only way I can get it done.

I thought the first "I'll take it" is the first in line. I'm glad I have more of them so there is no hurt feelings. It is $98 shipped to TX and I will hold set #3 for you 2 days so we have time to see if someone wants just the sway bar and plates. Thanks, Ray

Ray, go ahead and send set # 3 to Jason. I am in no rush and sounds like he is ready to buy. If you stumble across set #4 or just a cross member, keep me in mind!
