JUST finished 1960

tonite we just stabbed the engine & transmission in my fathers 1960. paint and body was finished yesterday, interior was finished about a month ago, we still have to install the dash. what do you think? we are trying to figure out a way for the tail gate to open without using chains. i was thinking of seatbelts hidden in the bed.

ANY ideas?

First of all, truck looks fantastic! Now there are a couple of things I really want to know. First, where did your instrument guages come from. Also, what are the seats out of, they look great! Oh, one more thing... I don't know about you but I have never had good luck with children running around a fresh paint job with a hockey stick! lol just kidding. It really looks great!

1. the instrument cluster was made out of 1/4 inch thick black lexan, the chevy symbol was laser etched and filled in with paint.

i designed and made it. thanks for the compliment

2. the seats are out a 1995 chevy fullsize, with a center console reupholstered in the color you see, but keeping the original pattern. just so you know the bolt pattern matched EXACHTLY, just 1 hole had to be drilled.

3. the child was the painters son, so, as you can see in the picture my father was not even worried!!

lol

Of all my favorite things to do, The utmost is to have a brew.
My love grows for my foamy friend, with each thirst-quenching elbow bend.
Beer so frosty, smooth, and cold it's paradise pure liquid gold.
Yes beer means many things to me that's all for now cus I gotta pee.
