Can someone with a 60-66 swb do me a favor and measure there truck from the back of the cab wall to dead center of the rear wheel? Would appreciate it greatly.

42-1/4" on my 1965 SWB Stepside..... Beds off my truck currently, made it easy to measure to the axle centerline.

I have needed to do that before, but don't know how!

Open up microsoft paint. click the file menu at top left of screen. click open. select picture you want to edit and go from there. Only takes a min or two to get the hang of it..

Yep, my understanding was you had (2) wheelbase choices for the pickups:

115 in. short bed
127 in. long bed

Given the above, the measurement for a LWB would be 42.25" + (127-115) = 54.25"

That does sound about right. I know from the back cab mounts to the center of my axle where I measured it from was 56". I didn't measure it at ride height so dont know how much it kicked. I'll work with the 54.25 I think Creep was saying the same thing. Thanks guys.

I think too, on both short and long , stock, the axle looks a little forward in the wheelwell until you put weight in the box, then it kind of centers
