Led tailight question???
I was looking at these Tail Lights (Below), for my 72 GMC Fleet/Short.
http://www.classicparts.com/1967-72-...info/49-236LC/ When I inquired about an "Electronic Flasher" the Parts Manager said there "was no reson for one, and my Current Flasher would work fine". WHHAAAAT!!?? Another Vendor told me, (an a lot of people here) say you DO need them! One Vendor told me not only shhould I get one for the Turn Signals, but also a separate one for the 4-Way Flashers. I was also thinking about getting the Electronic Flasher Below: http://gemstreetrods.com/led_tail_lights.htm Electronic Flasher Part # LD001 $12.95 Special Note: "Due to the low amp draw and no heat produced by LED lights, some of the time a stock 522 flasher will not cycle/flash. We highly recommend our no load electronic flasher to solve this problem". So I'm thinking that the Parts Guy at Classic doesnt know what he's talking about. Also, Does "Classic Parts" give members a Discount through this Forum? Before you tewll me about another Forum Member manufactoring his own LED's, I DO know about him. Unfortunat;ey 3 weeks and Multiple PM's/E-Mails and Posts have gone unanswered and I can't wait any longer.
