72 3/4 ton got new shoes have ?

These are new 17 inch GMC take offs with Bridgestone 275/70/17's. Anyone running them with a Dana 60 rear? I can not get the lug nuts off the rear so I have not put the rears on yet but it does not look like the cap will clear the hub. Also need to know if ebay is the best place to get the lug nuts to make the caps work. I also took a pic of the air breather and valve cover I took down to bare metal. They turned out pretty good.

Got the lug nuts off ebay for $37.55 and I paid $475 for wheels with brand new tires. Now I just need to figure out the rearend and find a chevy sticker for the center caps.

So far I replaced the exhaust manifold gasket on the driver side and the donut gasket after I broke off all 3 three studs. I had duals run with turbo's. I am needing to try to adjust the valves as I am getting some noise. Did you try to adjust them by chance? I am trying to get it a little more road worthy at this point. I need to figure out home much oil I am burning and see if the other motor I got from Bobby may be a better choice. Gonna do front brakes
pads later this week. Just the small stuff hoping the motor will last a little while longer. I am not how sure I like these wheels but I figured I would pay that much for tires alone. I really need to work on my short bed.......

I never did try to adjust the valves. If i remember right it seems like it would burn about 2qts of oil every 100 miles.

Re: 72 3/4 ton got new shoes have ?

I bought my lugnuts from lugnutking on e-bay. Quick responce and looked like original equipment for newer trucks, just in standard thread for the stud. I have the DANA 60 and have not found center covers for the rear yet.

Thanks for the info. I got the lug nuts from the same place the other day but have not received them yet. How much taller does the cap need to be to clear on the rear? Maybe a small spacer would work?
