Put a mulit-meter on the alternator with the truck running. If it reads greater than 12 volts, then the alternator is fine. If the alt is bad, then like you said, I'd imagine the generator bulb in the guage cluster is burnt out if no fuses are blown.
It also sounds like something's going on with your carburetor. Your rough running and bogging are solid symptoms of a worn out or badly adjusted carb. Just my two cents, if it'll help. |
