Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I'm finally back on the truck after a six plus month layoff from wrenching. Yesterday, I cleaned up the shop and organized about a million "little bits". Last night, I told myself, "When I go over to the shop, I'm going to pay attention to ONE chore only".

So, when I went over today, I *almost* finished plumbing the Vintage Air. It worked...that's ALL I worked on. Tomorrow, some pics. And, hopefully, a finished plumb and electric job on the air.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Installed my new grille and a remanufactured compressor for the A/C along with a new dryer. Need to evacuate and charge. Put a new compressor and dryer on the 71 Blazer last week and charged that system up.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

After a year and 5 months of removing things (frame off), repairing things, cleaning things, replacing things, modifying things and spending money like I had a tree in the back yard where I pick it from, I started my truck today. It sounds great, the 502 really sounds good with open exhaust. I only had 1 small fuel leak, I replaced the fitting and leak no more. I still have lots of work to do but today was a huge milestone. I am really happy with how things have turned out to this point.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I haven't uploaded any pics onto the computer in a while so I have a little catching up to do. The last week in April I made myself a temporary wood floor.

Then I went to Carlisle and got some new arm rest and a rear view mirror bracket

I had an extra set of tailights lying around, so I decided to tint a set with VHT Nite Shades

My side markers looked a little weird being red with black tailights, so I took my deluxe lights off and made a tinted set of van markers with bowties
