I do not know if that was an option, they look real GMish for that era. I am sure someone will chime in. Even if you had to go to a speciality tire co. you could probably find tires and it not like you are going to wear them out every 3-4 yrs. Most likely the tires would be a one time purchase thus justifying additional cost per tire.

No. I was told it's not for sale. The wheels caught my eye, so I had to look. Cab was locked so I couldn't look at the spid to see the wheel size.

Here's some 19.5's I had on a C-20. I think they are Kelsey wheels.

I don't know about the 18.5s, but all of the 19.5s I have ever seen were on trucks with the odd off-set for railroad use.

Those are freaky, never seen those before. For railroad use or some other special use sounds right to me because you would not want to have to hunt down new tires for those bad boys every few years.

Just looking at those tires makes me think they must be harder than the hubs of hell, about 12 ply rated with a ride like solid rubber tires, make your eyes blur and the loose fillings fall out of your teeth.

looks like the dubs craze has been around a long time!! sorry had to say it, while they may ride hard im sure for construction and the like they loved the security of 12ply.
