i would be the same way. That is a great score on the motor and all that eye candy just stepped it up from a 3 to a soild 10. Everytime I see a great build in the making I wish I had the space and resources to do a complete restro. Your truck is going to be killer when your done. Keep it up...

Thank you for the kind words, I actually don't have the space right now either. My truck is stored at my Brothers house. He has a nice 3 car garage so he has plenty of space, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be able to do this resto at all. This resto has been one of the hardest and most frusrating things I have ever done. I'm already 2 years into it and have a ways to go.

Thanks Keith, they are Hedman Elites 68618 for a 70 Chevelle 454. They fit perfectly with my 68-71 mounts. Just have to trim the passenger side frame rail about a 1/4" for extra clearance on the tubes. If you look closely in the pics above you can see the blue painters tape where they need a little extra clearance

That's fixable, just rip that 350 out like I did and put a Big block in there I do love those Big Block Impalas, I have a soft spot for them but I love these C-10's more. Enjoy.

Where I live you see a ton of big block Chevelles and Camaros but hardly ever any Impalas so when I do see one it always stands out to me. This is my second C10 and certainly not my last as I plan on keeping this one for a long time but I would like to get a 71/72 swb Cheyenne once I'm done building my 68.
