1971 K/5 Electronic Ignition Conversion?

What is the best HEI set up for my K/5? (350with an Edelbrock Performer 600 - 1406) . Wires, Distributor, Coil, Ignition Control, etc.. ?

Please advise..

I'm running the MSD digital E-curve and I like it. It's easy to hook up and the adjustable timing options are nice once you figure them out. You might as well throw out the instructions. Another feature that I like is the built in adjustable rev limiter. On these trucks firewall clearance can be an issue with the standard HEI with the big cap. This has a smaller cap for more clearance.

I have an MSD as well, but just the small cap ready-to-run distributor. No fire wall mods since it uses a small cap. Mine is an older version that uses a window cap like on the stock distributor.

Mallory one-wire GM HEI with vacuum advance and 50,000 volt coil. It has the full size cap, but it seems to fit my truck with no rubbing on firewall (rubbing could be a problem if you have worn out body mounts, but nothin that a BFH and minor firewall massaging won't fix).

You have a body lift on your rig? I'm going to replace my body mounts rubber is the way to go ya think?

I have worn out body mounts and a mallory hei. It's close but no rubbing or massaging
