Played with the truck today..

Got to go to an old school 1/8 mile deal today. It was for 73 and earlier, no track prep, no lights and a flagger in the middle. I set the truck up real loose and it worked pretty darned good. Enough for me to see if my N20 woes have been fixed. Well, I was sort of blessed by the N20 godess..

First pass was all motor against a early 2nd gen camaro. He left on the up of the flag and I left on the down so he was about 1 1/2 car out on me. I was realling him in and at the finish line, we were with in inches of each other (I think he might have edged me out). Awesome race!!

Second pass was with a 63-64 nova. Tubbed and caged, Bigblock with a dual carb tunnel ram with a big tire (bigger than my 315/60). I thought I was going to get waxed!!! I ended up gating him and got him by a good amount

Third pass I decided to open the bottle up and try the first stage 100 hit. Everything worked out but was pig rich. 58psi for fuel pressure, 57 jet in the N20 and a 31 in the fuel side. Wideband read bottom 10's for air fuel. Still though nice clean pass and let's say the guy in the other lane did not know what hit him..

Fourth pass I changed the fuel jet to a 28. A/F leaned a bit to 10.5ish. This was the only pass I used my track tested Gtech (always .1 and 1mph in my favor at the track in the 1/4 with a dead on 60'). Spun to a 2.0x but went 7.44 @ 102.74..
