Exclamation Mission Accomplished, Air Ride Install Complete.

finalized the last portion of my air ride install last night. it's not laying frame, but it's where I wanted it. can't say how much this board and it's members helped me out with it..... but everyone knows that this forum has the most knowledgable, and friendliest members on the net.

I know how much you guys are pic hounds, so.......... oh and forgive the knocked-out-tooth look without the front bumper. it's out for a nice fresh coat of white powdercoat. goin' back to the basics.

Looks killer! Is this at rest or ride height? Interested in ride height pic if this is at rest.

Re: Mission Accomplished, Air Ride Install Complete.

Steve, these views are with the bags completely aired out. ride height is 2.5" higher in the front and 2" higher in the back. with the truck at that height, I am not bottoming out or rubbing. kind of glad I maintained the factory rake, with the rear being 1.5-2" higher than the front.

I need to get a pic of it fully aired up too. talk about a 4x4!!

So,... is everything done?
I thought you had a little more work to do up front?
Or is that done?
What did you ever do about guages?

Re: Mission Accomplished, Air Ride Install Complete.

Keith,
I'm going to eventually run gauges for a 4 corners, but I'll probably wait on that. right now, the raising of the bed floor has been put to the top of the list.

the tubular control arms were a snap to install. in all, those brought the front down close to 3 full inches! now I'm having visions of a weld in super notch or a Porterbilt rear assembly. yeah I know, it doesn't end!
