Green Visors from '72 Super that will be crushed

Nice driver condition, dark green visors, in good shape, dirty and the engine starting instructions are yellowed but, all the stitching is intact and I believe they will clean up well. $30.00; Anything I have is O.B.O and you pick up the shipping.

I’m parting a ’72 Cheyenne Super, LWB. No column sorry and no cluster and the 5 lug stuff is gone too. It is rusty and the guy promised me a title but couldn’t produce! So to the crusher she goes. I have a nice (not perfect) passenger (’72) door shell no rust on the outside it has a speaker hole and no hardware; I’ll post pictures tomorrow this is a very usable door. The original owner (who I found while looking for the title) tells me that the Motorola AM/FM 8 track in the truck was dealer installed; I’ll post pictures of the radio also.

If you need anything from this truck I'll look at it if you are near you come look at it! Dasani a.k.a. Tom Jones

Re: Green Visors from '72 Super that will be crushed

Glove box door is there.
I pulled all the emblems off the front clip when is was sold, they were in bad shape I'll look around for them.
The gate was junk and went out with an earlier load.

Rob,
I'll get pics today; you'll have the first shot at it. This truck had metal speaker grills over some speakers in the doors which looked to be "OE" and the wiring had plastic terminal covers too. If not dealer installed, "period correct" anyway. You know I'll trade for anything, too.

Re: Green Visors from '72 Super that will be crushed

Interested in the emblems and tailgate handle cover if too much stuff passes. Want the emblems for my garage wall so don't care if they are rough...

Any other good olive green pieces for it? I have an olive green interior....would be interested in any good seatbelts, sunvisor clips, dash vent covers, coat hook, door/window handle escucheons, etc....

thanks...

Re: Green Visors from '72 Super that will be crushed

VA72C10,

I think I may still have the emblems in a box, (somewhere); I sold the AC stuff and I'm not sure about the coat hooks I'll look, I see what is still there. Someone else may have taken the sunvisor clips. I'll look for them also. The tailgate was junk and is gone!

Re: Green Visors from '72 Super that will be crushed

VA72C10,

The coat hook is there dirty but, all one piece and green. I may have the visor clips but I didn't see them at lunch, I'll look again when I get off work. I have two sets of dark olive '72 door panel and a set that someone painted which I save for that guy with no door panels, but the chrome trim is there and in good shape. None of them appear to be cracked or broken. I have two wood grain inserts for the passenger doors and one for the driver’s side.
If you'll send me a good e-mail address I'll send you picture. trtj64@gmail.com

too much stuff,
I have no idea where the emblems are, I have them in one of my many boxes, when I locate them I'll post them. I found the Glove box door but someone has pulled the woodgrain off it, if you want it for the SPID I'll send it to you.

Re: Green Visors from '72 Super that will be crushed

I got the truck as a # match roller and it was weather tight. I pulled the radio out and put in a box in the garage, I never thought about trying to put power on it. It doesn’t look to have been wet nor does any of the wires look burned. I got a 400th with a ’67 CST 327 truck. I changed the fluid and filter and put it in a truck and down the road she went. So I was told by my friends not to be a nay sayer! I bet the thing works, you buy it if it doesn’t work I’ll buy you dinner next time I see you!

Re: Green Visors from '72 Super that will be crushed

No, as far as a Super goes no, I've had Custom's with tilts, tachs and AM/FM and cloth seats. This was a stripper as far as a Super went. I'll see if I can take a picture of the SPID tomorrow if you want me too.
