Need help getting my truck running (Vacaville, california)

Several years ago, the timing chain on my truck broke, and after I replaced it (along with the valves and some other stuff), I havent ever been able to get it to run properly again. A few times I have gotten it to run well enough to drive around for half an hour or whatever, but then the next day Id go out and it would just crank until the battery goes dead and not even try to fire.

I have tried numerous times all of the things you would normally do in that situation (check timing, fuel, spark, compression, etc, and I do not see any obvious problems.

Would anyone (especially if you have an extra carb, hei, fuel pump etc that I could temoprarly borrow), be able to come help me get it running? If so send me a PM.
