Recent Crew Cab build w/ pics?

Hey guys, this isn't your normal crew cab thread asking for pics, but more of a "I remember seeing" thread. I was on the site a couple of weeks ago, and there was a guy who had an online member's album with pics of a crew cab he had put some 200 hours or so into. It was I believe on a jig, and he has pics of a suburban he put 4 doors onto for a customer. This wasn't "Project Pencillion", but a new build going on. I remember he had a link to that album in a thread, but now I can't find the thread. Does anyone know what or whom I am talking about? I would love to find the pics as I am trying to document what a nice crew cab would consist of. Thanks, Trevor

Re: Recent Crew Cab build w/ pics?

If we're on the same page you might find those pics/build in the gallery. I think the builder had a link to it from a reply of his in one of the "post your crew cab pics" threads.

Re: Recent Crew Cab build w/ pics?

It wasn't AK's-r-us from Oregon was it? I know he did a crew cab on a jig for a guy and also had an extended cab with suicide rear doors he was building.

Nope, that wasn't it. This was only like 2-3 weeks ago, maybe a month ago. He replied in a thread and had a link to his onsite gallery here. He did some very nice fabrication. Trevor

Re: Recent Crew Cab build w/ pics?

There is a guy in Kuna/Meridian/Boise that built a 4 door burb and a 4 door crew cab he works out of ACE Autobody and Customs in Meridian and his garage has a frame jig, his name is Mark a great guy and one very good body man! Might be the guy, I know hes on here every now and again dont post much tho.

Re: Recent Crew Cab build w/ pics?

Thanks guys, Mark.... you definitely impressed me with your crew cab and your suburban. I am sure here in the near future, I will have plently of questions for you, especially dealing with the pillar on the driver side. I wouldn't mind if you couldn't send me some shots of that cab. I am pretty much fueling up to get started on a 1 ton 4x4 crew cab short bed build here in the next year-year and half. I am collecting parts for it as we speak. Trevor

Ditto on the parts list.

I've been wanting to convert my 3 door Crew....

Rokcrln had listed some things in a couple of his threads, etc. I'd be nice to see you how did yours.
