Re: Can you tell how many times it's been painted

The only thing I am worried about is that the old paint may contain lead so I was not planning on going that far. And cannot afford to have it media blasted. I was going to put on some high build primer, primer sealer and have it painted. Is that a bad idea I just do not know if the old paint was lead based and it is not going to be a show truck just a weekend driver.
