The big 67-72 auction results/pics

Finally, an auction somewhat close to me. (about time) This was yesterday (sunday) and went for about 6.5 hours. And yes it was hot, and there were some great buys. Met up with don loverink, and sharpie1972 and one of his buds. Between the 4 of us there was hardly any room for much else in the 3 trucks. Had a great time. Should have brought a trailer... On with the pics...

The ochre 4x4 went for $4600, the ochre blazer went for $5000, and the blue and white dually brought 12k or 13k, (can't remember)

Re: The big 67-72 auction results/pics

The green 4x4 went for $8000, the frames are burb 4x4- long bed 4x4- and longbed 2wd that still had some big block parts on it. Those went from $150-$550. The green burb went for around $800

Re: The big 67-72 auction results/pics

The blue 4x4 went for $1700, the green 396 bucket seat with air truck went for $2200, and the blue jimmy brought $225 (not a typo!) There is an 82 one ton in the background between these pics that had a 454 and ran like a top that went for $650 i think it was.

Why did this come about?

Did a collector pass away? Business go under?

There was some nice stuff there!

Yeah, I probably would have bid on that burb and the blazer for $225. Would have been renting a uhaul to get them home, and setting up a tent in the yard after I pulled in and the missus saw...
