[Race] My truck vs 02 Mustang STEEDA V6

Are these things even quick at all? I raced one last night, and we were DEAD even up to 80mph. (Consider I CAN NOT get traction) I thought it was a GT at first, because of the rear bumper (dual cutouts), but when we both got on it, it was either a V6 or some WIERD Mufflers.
V6 = Prolly had Intake/Exhaust, and it was a 5 speed.
GT = Had to have WEIRD mufflers to make it sound that way.
Doesn't STEEDA make like suspension stuff only?

Horrible....You should be banished for even saying you were beat by that stang. Some things you just keep to yourself.

Then it had to of been a GT, because I was gonna say the same thing. I can beat a new V6 mustang in my SATURN, and my truck KILLS my saturn. So, it musta been a GT, just had some funky ricer mufflers.

Talking

This is funny i just raced a newer stang not shure what year it was just two night's ago in my S10 comming home form work on a long section of US27 two lanes and open space and no one else around anyway the light went green and we went at it i had that slow pony from the start and he never cought up untill i let off and he pulls up and ask me if i have a V8 and i tell him no just a l'il V6 so he wants to run me again so we come to a dead stop and i even let him say go and i whooped him one more time and i look back and he let off and turned around and headed back toward's miami i dont think he had a V8 but it sounded like it had one plus he had a manual trany and im auto if it was a V8 then them thing's are slow as slug's i know my S10 will hang with any stock V8 for about 80/100 ft. I don't think this kid knew how to drive his car.

i know our 98 4.6 gt mustang flies don't like the brand but it handles like a sports car with the 17's and will accelerate like a mad man...

That's normally the case, I beat so many people with my dog ass slow v6 mustang (the '94 with ~140hp) because they couldn't drive. I had one person ask me if it had a blower, I was laughing so hard I had a hard time telling him it just needed a clutch and that's what the sound was.

Now look. All this talk about the blue oval is giving me indigestion. Last time I looked, this was a site dedicated to CHEVY trucks. Telling everybody about beating them into the ground is one thing, but talking about how they handle and accelerate is another. For the sake of all of us CHEVY/GM people, let's leave the tall tales to the fishing sites.

Tobes, you cannot deny that Ford has definitely done their homework over the years with the Mustang. personally, i would never own one, but i have driven quite a few. they are definitely well built cars, and some of them are pretty quick too.

Well maybe that's what this dude had but in a newer one and he wasen't even close to me form the start.

But my S10 has the 200HP VORTECH V6 I put in it from a '94 Blazer and it's got over 140k miles on it. Iv'e also got edelbrock header's and aft cat sys. and a K&N air filter and a hypertech chip and a shift kit and a ele. fan so i may be pushing around 225 or 230 HP

Did someone say that Mustangs are well built??? hahahah Have you ever driven a used one?? hell even the guys that own new Cobras will tell you the interior leaves little to be desired.

I would however own a new cobra or Lightning. Pref the L.
And those of you that remember the story of me getting smoked by the L a while back... I got revenge this weekend in the Bird!! heheehehe
