Bench seat mount questions

I dropped off my bench seat to get it reupholstered, and I picked it disassembled - the mounts were off, along with the spring and latch release cable. So my questions are:

1. How many springs are there supposed to be that assist the bench when moving it along the track? I only have one, so I'm hoping that's all there is.

2. Where does the spring attach? Does it attach to the drivers side or passenger side? Where does it hook on the upper and lower mounts?

Seems like it sould be a simple thing to figure out. I messed with it for a while, but due to the length of the spring, nothing seems to line up right.

Thanks!

Re: Bench seat mount questions

I'd _guess_ that there's a spring on the pass side track and one smaller one on the adjustment lever.

Re: Bench seat mount questions

Yes - that's it. The spring I'm talking about is that big one that is running diagonally from the back bar to the seat track.

Is there just the one on the drivers side, and it looks like it attaches to the lower mount toward the front, correct?

Thumbs up Re: Bench seat mount questions

Not exactly sure of the mounting of the spring, (I have buddy buckets), but it attaches in the front on the lower portion of the seat adjuster. Yes, that's the only one.
