Thats crazy,I have seen so many crashes that were 10 times more violent and the guy got out and walked away. I wonder what exactly happened with the car itself. Its a shame to lose a guy thats been around forever in racing.

Hate to see anyone get killed at the track.Really sucks for a guy who busted his but to run like this guy did.I never ran against him but from some of my buddys who did I understand he was super cool dude.Much like myself he did most everything on nhis cars. These are the kind of racers I respect the most. It these kind of folks who make dragracing such a great sport.

R.I.P Mark. Prayers sent to the family. It is very sad to hear of this in a sport that means so much to me.

Re: arizona looses another racer! mark niver

That has to be along the lines of a freak accident. Not because of the shoot but the chassis failing at that horrible point where it was able to kill him. I was surprised to watch the video and see just how slow he got the car. Praying it was instant and painless.....should we all be so lucky as to die doing what we love to do.

RIP.....hopefully you are hangin' With Shepherd, Kallita and the boys!
