72 rear window install with ss trim

Just got my new rear window with rubber seal and ss trim from CLASSIC INDUSTIES what can I expect for the fit. I will be going to a glass install shop for this,I know oem fits/looks the best but this stuff from CLASSIC looks good.I would try to remove the old unit(non ss trim rubber and non oem slider)if any one could explain or post some pictures and for the install maybe even try that, glass shop said 60 bucks to do it. Thanks

Just make darn sure you have matching parts for the Rubber seal/stainless trim. There are two different trim sizes and the groove in the rubber has to be correct depth for the trim that you have. One has a 3/8" lip and the other has a 5/8" lip. Doesn't sound like much but they won't interchange.

Put the stainless in the rubber first then put the rubber on the window. It works best with at least three people for the installation.
