Differente type of Beds

So im a newb when it comes to this. I am seeing the term SWB LWB tossed around here. So basically SWB= ( short wheel base ) Shortbed , LWB= ( long wheel base ) Long bed ? I have also seen the term Wide shortbed , or Wide Long bed. Did they make two type of beds ? Normal and wide ? Its a dumb question but just though id ask

Hi Frijolito1988 ...
There is no such thing as a dumb question. You are correct in tat LWM=Long Wheel Base and SWB=Short Wheel Base. There is a Fleeside which has smooth sided fenders and the Step Side which has fender on the out side the bed. There is also a Longhorn which is an extended LWB.

I am not sure of the measurements but a SWB is 6' and LWB is 8'. The Longhorn is maybe a foot longer. I am not sure of the exact measurements

I hope this helps. Also and from Ohio. See the LINK below for more good reading...
