Can't wait to get them and installed! They sound just as good as Flowmasters, Magnaflows, & others and plus they don't have the drone effect as the others at 2000 rpm.

Sound good. I'd like to hear them without the emissions stuff and with headers.

Its funny..that is the new thing for LS1 owners to do. They love them too!!
If you like resonance and loss of power..I guess Flowmasters are the only way to go. They are dyno proven power killers.

aeros will be my next set, after i wear out these flows, yes they sound good, but restrictive baffles causes loss of power!

Ok I got a question Where can I find more info on aerochambers? I have a 81 that I just got and it has some kind of cherry bombs on it (thou the guy I bought it from thought they were flomasters last time I knew flowmaster did not make a small round muffler) aand want to switch them out for something a little quieter and more rumbly instead of tinny.
Thanks In advance Steve |

Bah. Who needs a restrictive turbo when you can have basically open headers with the Purple Hornies. Seriously though the Aerochambers are on my list of upgrades. I would only go with the purple hornies if you are poor and live in an emissons law free area like me.

Glasspack mufflers are actually very restrictive and are proven on the dyno to be inferior to most other types.

bailing wire is great I used it to hold my oil dipstick in too after we broke it putting the headers on.

Some glasspacks are not restrictive. The Dynomax/Thrush Magnum Glasspacks don't have those stupid louvers getting in the way of the gases. Just a straight pipe with some holes.

I have never seen the dynomax magnum glasspacks. I have seen the cherrybombs and the flowtech purple hornies, and in those mufflers the pipe inside the muffler is only about half the diameter of the incoming and outgoing pipe size.
