Body mount kit question

Sorry if this has been asked before, but my cab should be ready for mounting in about 3 weeks. Anyone got closeup pics of front/rear cab mounts? I have a kit and have tried the LMC website but the diagram they have looks different than the mounts I have. Also what length/size bolts are needed for the mounts, my kit only came with 2 12inch by 7/16ths bolts I am assuming that are for the front cab mounts?

Re: Body mount kit question

do you have a pic of your old mounts? I found my 80 K20 mounts didn't match any of the pics. I ended up with mounts that are for a early mid 70's chevy, that is what matched my K20.

Re: Body mount kit question

So.....what I need are pics of a 71/72 4wd truck's cab mounts so I can get an idea of the order/location of all the various rubber mounts I have. LMC doesnt give enough detail and I have no instructions.

Re: Body mount kit question

Thank you thank you thank you MSGROSS!!!!! That's exactly what I was looking for. So the 2nd pic, is that the radiator support? Your Bushings are somewhat different than mine though, mine are counterpart brand?

Re: Body mount kit question

no problem...

first pic is front cab mount, left side

second pic is rad support left side, bolt is a little crooked... 4WD's and 67-68 2WD's have the smaller hole in the rad support, and last pic is right rear cab...

Hi mike,
I found this old post on body mounts and it looks like you have the same lmc kit I am trying to use. I am having a problem drawing down the rear mounts and don't seem to have enough threads to do so. Did you have this problem?
Thanks,
Jeff
