First weekend out!

Took the Blazer out over the weekend for the first time in ten years. Long story short... had plans to do a full resto but other plans were in store for me. Two kids and a divorce later here I am trying to get it going again. As you can see the resto didnt get finished but its in alot better shape now than it was when I parked it ten years ago. Its running a fresh 350/350 combo with a 2in. all spring lift and 33x12.50's. Poly body bushings are in and floor and rocker work has been started. I have a loooong way to go but I do enjoy what I have. Looks like this will be a rolling project... which is much better than a sitting project for me. I never imagined my new wife and kids would like it so much. I guess fighting over who gets to drive is not such a bad thing after all

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Re: First weekend out!

Good looking Blazer and great looking family.

Rolling projects are the best - you get to enjoy driving it rather than just looking at it and wish you were!
