Cool advice on blazer 1 piece window set-up?

Any suggestions or pictures will be most helpful. I know of a guy who has a top that was set up for this application. Just want the pro's and con's. Thanks

Re: advice on blazer 1 piece window set-up?

As far as I know, one piece windows don't work on Blazers because there isn't any support with the top off and the window half way down.

Isn't there still support in the front and rear of the window that would be enough?

There is someone on the board trying to develop a kit that will work. Having never tried it, or looked at it closely, I don't know exactly where the problems are.

Captkaos has posted a pre order for the 1 piece windows. There is a blazer bracket available.....guess I'll see how it works.

maybe it's an age thing. But am I the only one that thinks vent windows are cool? It's one of the reasons I love old cars.

Re: advice on blazer 1 piece window set-up?

I thnk on a custom street machine, the single piece windows can look great and be a nice custom touch. For my current blazer, I like the vents and it wouldn't be worth changing. Someday, I'll have a bagged 2wd Blazer...

Re: advice on blazer 1 piece window set-up?

Yeah, im really leaning towards staying stock for the extra support for the door windows on the blazer, just seeing if anyone was using them and how they like them..
