Straight Axle Conversion/Swap??

I Have a 1994 CHevy K1500 Silverado z71 that i plan on converting to SAS for lifting purposes. I Am not sure what i need so im asking if anybody can name a parts lists for me?

what trucks can i pull a front axle off of ? Any help is greatly appreciated

You might get more responses in the 4x4 and off roading area but ill leave it here for a bit then move it if you dont get the answers your looking for.

A ford dana 60 would be the axle of choice.. custom springs probably or a conversion kit

do you want to swap t-cases or use your existing one? If you want to stay with what you have, you need a Ford front axle. How big are you going?? Is it gonna be wheeled, or mostly street drivin?? What about wheels? If you want to stay 6 lug, need to find a 78/79 3/4 front and convert to 6 lug, but if going 8 lug then already set. Rear is a bolt it.

I would make the spring brackets, after having a set of ORU's and what they change is insame IMO. But if you can't make them, Sky Man. has the best price.

Look in my sig, I did an SAS on an 89 GMC 1 ton that I should have NEVER gotten rid of....
