Brake Question

Hey I have an 85 C10 2wd with a 350/350. I need a passenger rear wheel cylinder and my brake code is J55. Their are 3 options when I go to get parts, like sizes, is their anyway to determine the size before I take it off?

Re: Brake Question

I never buy any brake parts without taking the old ones with me. It seems like aftermarket parts are not always like they should be. Beyond this, measure the old one, take pics on your cell phone, and write down any oddities, then compare the options based on your intel.

Re: Brake Question

Pop your drum off and measure the diameter and shoe width. Then compare parts before you fully tear the brakes down.
