Hi Trently,

Yes, there are some great people on here. The 48 truck is coming on Thursday night if the weather is permitting. So, should be a new build.

I can't believe I just spotted this thread. Awesome work!
It's probably too late to ask now, but any info on your motor mounts would be appreciated.

Oh yea, now I see the elongated hole in the one pic.
So, next dumb question; everything's upside down, right? The rubber motor mount is on the engine and the S-10 swap mount is welded on the frame? Ingenious!

Re: 1954 Chevy / S10

mcrock54, the owners were going to do the bed floor so I do not know. When I make my beds I make them so that you can put the wood on last. I use aluminum angle that is bolted on. That way you do not have to have the bed wood down first.

Re: 1954 Chevy / S10

I'm wanting to do mine pretty soon if I go with wood I have to raise the floor I still want some depth to it so I might do metal the reason being because of my frame work

Re: 1954 Chevy / S10

mcrock54, your truck is bad a$$. Can you do a metal bridge and do wood in the front and the back. Then you can let your floor where it is at. Post a picture of inside the bed. I would love to see more pictures.
