Question Taillight lenses

Hey everyone! Yep, I'm yet another newbie here to this board. The forum looks great, and there seems to be a lot of knowledge here, so here goes! I 'm rebuilding an 86 C-10 (door handles are shaved, tailgate handle is relocated, drip rails shaved, stake pockets filled, clear front corner lenses, lowered soon, etc...) I'm in need of some serious help! I saw in a recent issue of Truckin' magazine that someone had a set of totally clear taillight lenses on his 81-87. I've been looking for these for almost 2 years now with no luck. I don't really want to go with the euro-tails unless it's an absolute last resort. I know that APC used to produce the clear tails (no red reflector insert) but not any longer. Does anyone know where I might be able to find the clears? Thanks in advance!

You're talking about the tailight lense that's COMPLETELY clear? (They used to call them "iced lights", and they used to be REALLY in style before Euro's came out.) I have no idea where to get those But I used to have a set before they got stolen.

The damn things cannot be found. I have been looking for them for as long as I have had my truck, with no luck. Sucks doesn't it? Someone went on a campain and got the gov't to force recalls on all euro taillights that don't have the proper specs (almost all of them from before the recalls). They cannot legally produce them anymore!

Man, this sucks! Especially since they still make them for newer trucks! Well, I'm heading to the big swap meet in Iola in July, with any sort of luck hopefully I'll be able to find some there. Thanks for the help guys!
